✦ Product FAQ

Popular Products — Top Questions

Electric Carts
Q: What load can an electric cart carry?

Most electric carts are rated for 150–250 lb (70–115 kg) depending on the model. Check the product page for the exact rating. For rough terrain, stay well below the maximum load to keep control and protect the motor.

Q: How do I maintain an electric cart's battery?

Charge the battery fully before first use and after each trip. Store it partially charged (around 50%) in a cool, dry place if unused for long periods. Avoid leaving it in direct sun or extreme cold, and never charge unattended overnight.

Utility Carts
Q: What load can a utility cart carry?

Most of our utility carts are rated for 150–250 lb (70–115 kg) depending on the model. Check the product page for the exact rating. For rough terrain, stay well below the maximum load to keep control and protect the wheels.

Q: Are the wheels suitable for sand or mud?

Wide, air-filled tyres handle sand, gravel, and mud far better than hard plastic wheels. If you mostly camp on paved or packed surfaces, standard wheels are fine. For soft ground, choose a model with pneumatic tyres for the best float and traction.

Camping Gear
Q: What does "4-person" really mean for a tent?

Manufacturer capacity ratings assume sleepers lying shoulder-to-shoulder with no gear inside. For real comfort, treat a 4-person tent as a comfortable 2–3 person tent if you're bringing bags, pads, or extra equipment. Check the floor dimensions and peak height before buying.

Q: How do I care for my tent between trips?

Always pitch or hang your tent to dry completely before storing — even if it looks dry. Store it loosely in a breathable bag (not compressed) in a cool, dry place. Clean with mild soap and water; avoid harsh detergents, and never machine wash or tumble dry.

Camping Accessories
Q: What essentials should every camping trip include?

At minimum: a headlamp, multi-tool, water filter or purification tablets, fire starter, emergency blanket, and a small repair kit. Pack according to season and terrain.

Q: How do I choose a camping lantern?

Consider brightness (lumens), run time, and power source. Rechargeable LED lanterns are convenient for most trips; look for 200–400 lumens for general camp lighting and a low mode for longer run time.

Cooking Equipment
Q: What fuel does the Portable Campfire Stove use?

The Portable Campfire Stove is compatible with standard propane canisters and most common portable gas cartridges (depending on the adapter included). Always use it outdoors in a well-ventilated area and follow the included safety instructions.

Q: Is the Outdoor Cooking Set non-stick and safe for high heat?

Yes — the cookware uses a non-stick coating suitable for normal camp cooking temperatures. Avoid overheating an empty pan, use silicone or wooden utensils, and hand-wash to preserve the coating. The set nests together for compact storage.

Outdoor Furniture
Q: Is the Outdoor Picnic Table easy to assemble?

Yes. The picnic table assembles in about 15–20 minutes with the included hardware and a basic screwdriver. The adjustable sun umbrella attaches to the table's centre mount, and the table folds flat for storage or transport.

Q: Can the furniture stay outside in the rain?

Our outdoor furniture is weather-resistant and can handle occasional rain, but we recommend covering or storing it during long periods of bad weather. This preserves the finish and extends the lifespan of hinges, joints, and fabric.

Outdoor Apparel
Q: How should I size the Waterproof Rain Jacket?

The rain jacket runs true to size with room for a light mid-layer. If you plan to wear a thick fleece underneath, consider sizing up. Check the size chart on the product page and measure your chest and sleeve length for the best fit.

Q: How should I clean waterproof apparel?

Use a gentle, technical-fabric wash and avoid fabric softener, which clogs waterproof membranes. Close zippers, wash on a gentle cycle, and tumble dry low to reactivate the water-repellent finish. Re-proof with a spray if water stops beading.

Backpacks & Bags
Q: How do I choose the right backpack size?

Match litre capacity to trip length: 30–40L for day hikes, 50–65L for weekends, and 65L+ for multi-day trips. Also check torso length and hip-belt fit — a well-fitted 50L pack carries better than an ill-fitting 65L one.

Q: Is the Hiking Backpack 65L waterproof?

The pack is water-resistant thanks to its durable fabric and coated zippers, but not fully waterproof. For heavy rain, use the included rain cover or pack essentials in dry bags. Prolonged exposure to water can still seep through seams.

Safety & First Aid
Q: What should a basic first aid kit include?

At minimum: adhesive bandages, sterile gauze, medical tape, antiseptic wipes, blister plasters, tweezers, scissors, and a small emergency blanket. Check expiry dates each season and restock items used on previous trips.

Q: How often should I replace first aid supplies?

Check your kit before every trip and replace expired or used items. Sterile items and medications have expiry dates; bandages and tape should be replaced if packaging is damaged or dirty.

Power Gear
Q: How far can I see with the Night Vision Binoculars?

You can see up to 1,400 feet during the day. For night vision, you can see up to 1000ft (300m) in low-light conditions, and up to 200 feet in complete, pitch-black darkness.

Q: How long does the LED Camping Lantern last on a charge?

Runtime depends on brightness mode — typically 6–8 hours on high and up to 20+ hours on low. Recharge via USB; a full charge usually takes 3–4 hours. Store with a partial charge if unused for long periods.

Garden
Q: Are the garden power tools weatherproof?

Our garden power tools are designed for outdoor use and handle light rain, but should not be left out in heavy storms or stored in wet conditions. Check each product's IP rating for specific water resistance.

Q: How do I maintain garden tools between seasons?

Clean off dirt and sap after each use, dry thoroughly, and oil metal blades lightly to prevent rust. Store in a dry shed or garage. For battery-powered tools, charge and store the battery according to the manual.
